People crowded sidewalks and rooftops to enjoy this year’s Royal Parade as it wound itself around downtown Hilo on Saturday, April 30, 2011. The parade is part of the annual Merrie Monarch Festival and features floats, marching bands, pa’u riders and different local organizations and businesses from the Hilo area.
