Stand-up comic Kevin Hart coming to Oahu

Stand-up comedian Kevin Hart’s “Laugh at My Pain” tour will make a stop in Honolulu on Nov. 12, promoter Capone’s Productions confirmed today. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 3 at all Ticketmaster outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.com.

After getting his start in a Philadelphia comedy club, Hart went on to establish himself as a regular performer at comedy clubs in Boston, New York City and Los Angeles. He has also appeared on the big screen in movies like “Scary Movie 2,” “Little Fockers,” “Death at a Funeral,” “Fools’ Gold” and “The 40-Year Old Virgin.” According to Capone’s Productions, he is the top-selling act on Ticketmaster in 2011 and sold out three consecutive performances at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre earlier this year. His latest DVD, “Seriously‚Ķ Funny” has also sold more than a million copies since its release.

While ticket prices for the Nov. 12 performance at Blaisdell Arena haven’t been announced, Capone’s Productions said in a press release that special VIP packages will also be available. Call 306-2926 for details.
