Melissa Etheridge returns to Honolulu with a new tune
The four years since Melissa Etheridge last performed in Honolulu, playing a sold-out concert in the Blaisdell Concert Hall, have been busy and productive for her. She’s performed at the Democratic National Convention, been featured in a breast cancer documentary, “1 a Minute,” recorded and released three full-length CDs, and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She also finished work last month on a fourth album since that last Oahu performance, “4th Street Feeling,” that she describes as “the most of me that I’ve ever put on an album.”
