JJ Bistro’s Seafood: JJ Bistro & French Pastry has added new seafood offerings to its menu, with “Fishermen Feast” selections inspired by the success of its sister eatery, Crab City.

Among the new choices are Oyster Classic ($2.95 apiece), Lobster tail ($14.95 per tail), Lobster Pad Thai ($18.95) and De Sea World ($48), a large seafood combo dish with king, snow and Dungeness crabs, along with lobster, mussels, clams and shrimp that could feed two to three people.

The Fishermen Feast menu is available for both lunch and dinner at JJ Bistro & French Pastry, 3447 Waialae Ave. Call 739-0993.

The Hankburger: If you love Hank’s Haute Dogs, you’ll probably love the Hankburger, too — a new offering on weekends only.

The classic burger will be served from a food truck parked beside the Kakaako storefront, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays and noon to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. You’ll also be able to purchase the burger inside Hank’s from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

In case you were wondering why the truck looks familiar, it used to belong to Melt.

The char-grilled Hank-burger comes with lettuce, onion, tomato and Hank Sauce, at $4.95. A combo meal of burger, fries, “haute dip” and a small soda is $8.70.

Natural-cut fries are also available with “haute dips” in chipotle, garlic aioli, wasabi and spicy curry. One dip comes with an order; additional dips are 50 cents each.

Hank’s Haute Dogs is at 324 Coral St. in Kakaako; 532-4265 or hankshautedogs.com.

Eat the Street Pro Bowl: Get ready for Eat the Street Pro Bowl from 4 to 9 p.m. today. This month Streetgrindz teams up with the National Football League to offer a “Pro Bowl” themed Eat the Street at 555 South St.

Besides more than 40 food trucks and street vendors offering NFL-themed food, expect special guest appearances by NFL cheerleaders, mascots and football players and Pro Bowl ticket giveaways.

The event is free. VIP tents that come with tables, chairs and a custom banner are available for a fee. Visit www.streetgrindz.com/probowl.

Mangia: The theme of Kakaako Kitchen’s next Picnic on the Lanai is “Mangia, Bevi e Sta Allegro … Eat, Drink & Be Merry” and takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The Italian-inspired menu includes carne crudo with white truffle oil drizzle, baked eggplant with mozzarella cheese, minestrone soup with pesto drizzle, Caesar salad, chicken Parmesan, baked salmon, penne pasta with macadamia nut pesto and baked meatballs. Dessert is an orange-flavored panna cotta with strawberry conserve.

The informal, BYOB (no corkage fee) dinner is $35 per person at Kakaako Kitchen, Ward Centre. Call 596-7488 to reserve a seat.
