Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30, for a concert by Grammy Award-nominated rockers Matchbox Twenty at the Blaisdell Concert Hall on Nov. 13.

With more than 30 million albums sold worldwide, the band has also won four American Music Awards and was named “Best New Band” by the readers of Rolling Stone in 1997. Lead singer Rob Thomas has also made a name for himself as a solo artist, winning three Grammys and two “Songwriter of the Year” awards from Billboard; his collaboration with Carlos Santana on the single “Smooth” earned the No. 2 spot on Billboard’s list of 100 Most Popular Songs.

Matchbox Twenty will arrive in Honolulu this fall to promote the band’s fourth album, “NORTH,” which is its first release in five years and the first all-new album in a decade. Tickets for the all-ages concert range from $59.50 to $99.50 in advance (plus applicable fees), and will be available Friday at all Ticketmaster locations, the Blaisdell Box Office, all Walmart stores on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii island, online at bampproject.com and ticketmaster.com and by phone at (800) 745-3000.
