The Pulse named 2013 EPPY Awards finalist

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s entertainment website,, was named a finalist in Editor & Publisher’s EPPY Awards for the third year in a row last week.

eppy 2013The annual international competition, now in its 18th year, honors the best media-affilated websites in 31 categories.

The Pulse was named a finalist in the Best Entertainment Website (with under 1 million unique monthly visitors) category along with the Las Vegas Weekly, Deseret Digital Media and the Sarasota Herald Tribune. The Herald Tribune site,, was named this year’s winner on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
