Top of Waikiki Christmas: Top of Waikiki executive chef Lance Kosaka is offering a special three-course menu highlighting local ingredients for dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Start with a roasted beet salad with Ma’o Farms organic greens, Waialua asparagus and Hawaii island goat dairy chevre with house-made garlic croutons.

The main course is a mushroom-stuffed pork loin on creamy polenta with sauteed broccoli rabe and gravy.

Dessert is simply Santa’s Milk & Cookies, featuring assorted cookies with Il Gelato eggnog or apple tart caramel gelato.

Price is $45 per person (additional $14 for standard wine pairings, $19 for premium wine pairings). Items from Kosaka’s new menu are also available at Top of Waikiki, Waikiki Business Plaza, 2270 Kalakaua Ave.; 923-3877 or topofwaikiki.com.

Holiday Cheesecakes: Otto Cake in Kaimuki is rolling out holiday flavor cheesecakes, including eggnog, gingerbread, cranberry, candy cane and peppermint white chocolate.

The holiday flavors, as well as pumpkin cheesecake, will be available until the end of the year.

Otto makes all of his cakes from scratch, stirring by hand. Prices are $5 per slice, $15 to $35 for 6- to 10-inch cakes. For custom orders, be sure to call 72 hours in advance.

Hiroshi’s Christmas Special: Hiroshi Eurasion Tapas will open at 5 p.m. on both Tuesday and Wednesday, with a special, four-course menu.

Start with seared scallops, Ho Farm’s long beans and Hauula tomatoes, accompanied by an amuse-bouche of shrimp cocktail. The second course is Kona cold lobster cake in ginger-tarragon sauce accompanied by an amuse-bouche of seared ahi with compressed watermelon.

Next, choose your main course: crispy skin Hawaiian kampachi in oxtail broth with Manila clams ($52) or sous vide filet mignon with pancetta potato croquettes ($54).

Chef’s Table: SHOR at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki is now offering the Chef’s Table from Thursday through Sunday.

The Chef’s Table offers a unique, five-course meal by Chef Jake Andrews with ingredients from farmers markets paired with five wines. Andrews will personally introduce each wine pairing.

Cost is $500 for four people, $150 for each additional person with a maximum of 12 guests.
