GET YOUR GREEN ON: Are you wearing green? It’s St. Patrick’s Day, so if you don’t want to get pinched, don’t forget to dress accordingly when celebrating in the festivities!

First, check out the 47th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade at noon along Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki. The parade begins at Fort DeRussy and ends at Kapiolani Park.

Then, head down to the block party at Murphy’s Bar & Grill, 2 Merchant St., and the parking lot at the corner of Nuuanu Avenue and Nimitz Highway. There will be food starting at 11 a.m., including corned beef and a Guinness oyster bar. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. with live music along the streets and inside O’Toole’s. Streets will be closed to traffic on Nuuanu Avenue, Merchant Street and Marin Lane.
