BOLO CD RELEASE PARTY: Kona-based recording artist Bolo Rodrigues will be on Oahu to celebrate the release of his latest album, “Ekahi,” at The Willows, 901 Hausten St., on Thursday as part of Pakele Live! at the restaurant.

The party will be broadcast live on OC-16 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. No cover; call (808) 952-9200 for reservations.

CITY AND COLOUR MAKES HAWAII DEBUT: Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green, aka City and Colour, was once a member of the post-hardcore group Alexisonfire and put out four albums with the band before focusing on his solo acoustic career in 2011. All four of his studio albums as a soloist are certified platinum in Canada, with the last two releases, 2011′s “Little Hell” and last year’s “The Hurry and the Harm,” both debuting at No. 1 on the Canadian Albums Chart.

Green makes his Hawaii concert debut at 8 p.m. Thursday at The Republik, 1349 Kapiolani Blvd. All ages welcome (those under 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult); tickets are $35 to $40 and available by phone at (855) 235-2867 or online at flavorus.com.

HIFF WRAPS UP SPRING SHOWCASE: Thursday is the last full day of films for the Hawaii International Film Festival’s 2014 Spring Showcase, headlined by the showcase’s closing night film, “Kumu Hina.”

Here’s the complete Thursday lineup; all films will be screened at Regal Dole Cannery Stadium 18, 735 Iwilei Rd., except for the closing night film.
