FAHRENHEIT FRIDAYS DEBUTS: Looking for a high-end karaoke experience? Air Park Karaoke, 510 Piikoi St. (above Ichiriki), introduces Fahrenheit Fridays at 8 p.m. with a karaoke contest. QUEEN LILIUOKALANI CELEBRATED AT LCC: An original multimedia production explores the heart and mind of Lydia Kamakaeha Paki, the woman who became Queen Liliuokalani, through an examination of her music and poetry in “The Lili’u Project,” premiering at 8 p.m. Friday at Leeward Community College, 96-045 Ala Ike.
Liliuokalani, the last reigning monarch of the kingdom of Hawaii, is lauded as a gifted and prolific composer, having written many works, including “Aloha ‘Oe.”
The event begins in the Leeward Theatre lobby with an art installation by Joel Gaspar. There will also be music by DJ TheNativeGirl and local cuisine from Pomai Kulolo.
A concert will showcase 10 compositions, nine of them by Liliuokalani, featuring 2012 Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winning vocalist Starr Kalahiki accompanied by an eclectic nine-piece ensemble. Guests include a choir composed of LCC and University of Hawaii West Oahu choruses.

GET FOOLISH AT M: The Boys Bunch of Hawaii hosts its 28th annual April Foolish Party at M Nightclub, 500 Ala Moana Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday.
