CINCO DE MAYO IN KAIMUKI: If you’re a foodie, many restaurants are having specials on their menus. Koko Head Cafe is adding five items to its menu in celebration of the holiday, including lamb in manchamanteles mole with crispy arroz amarillo. Right around the corner, SALT bar & kitchen is offering achote-anatto seed marinated Shinsato pork tacos.
CINCO DE MAYO IN CHINATOWN: Chinatown Cinco de Mayo pub crawl, with scavenger hunt, Instagram challenge and $500 in prizes, 6 p.m. at The Manifest, J.J. Dolan’s, Nextdoor, Bar 35, Downbeat Diner, Soul de Cuba Cafe, Rakuen Lounge, Mercury Bar, The Dragon Upstairs, Fresh Cafe and Smitty’s Smiths Union Bar. No cover.
