BayFest returns to Kaneohe in October

Uncle Kracker, Smash Mouth and Capital Cities will headline BayFest at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in October, the Kaneohe Marines announced Monday.
Tickets for the three-day family event go on sale Friday; along with the bands, scheduled feature entertainment includes a BodySearch fitness competition, E.K. Fernandez carnival rides, a Friday night fireworks display and more.
Uncle Kracker and Smash Mouth will perform Oct. 17; Capital Cities will play Oct. 18. The entertainment for Oct. 19 has not been announced.
General admission to BayFest is $5 per day, with $40 concert tickets (includes general admission) available each evening. From Aug. 1 through Aug. 15, concert tickets will be priced at $25; the price will rise to $35 from Aug. 16 through Oct. 16 before jumping to $40 at the gate. Children five and under are free.
Advance tickets can be purchased online or at any military ticket outlet.
BayFest was canceled in 2013 due to budget cuts.
