‘Shop a Le’a’ returns to Ala Moana Center

If you need to see all the trends to absorb them, Ala Moana Center delivers a quick, fun overview this week during its annual “Shop A Le‘a” event, showcasing spring’s highlights on the mall’s longest runway ever, with a pink carpet traversing the entire second-story mall level at nearly half a mile long.

There will also be in-store events, shopping and dining offers. Among the highlights:

Shop a Le‘a Pink Carpet Contest

Strut your stuff on the pink carpet runway through Sunday and post it on Instagram or Twitter using @AlaMoanaCenter and #ShopaLea. Six lucky posters will win a $50 Ala Moana Center gift card.

Centerwide Gift with Purchase

Shoppers who redeem $300 in Ala Moana Center store and restaurant receipts dated March 18 through 24 will receive a limited-edition fuchsia umbrella. Receipts can be redeemed at the Customer Service Center. Limit one umbrella per person, while supplies last.

‘Dress For Success’

Shoppers can help disadvantaged women re-enter the workforce looking fabulous in professional attire by donating to YWCA of O‘ahu’s “Dress for Success Honolulu.” Donations of unworn or gently used apparel, shoes, accessories, and gifts cards will be accepted at participating retailers.

Most merchants acting as collection sites will offer discounts and gifts to shoppers who provide a donation. Participating retailers include Folli Follie, Dooney & Bourke, Maui Divers Jewelry, Tapestries by Hauoli, LeSportsac, and White House|Black Market.

Shop a Le‘a Getaway

Enter to win a Chicago trip for two with roundtrip airfare, a three-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton Chicago, admission to Shedd Aquarium, a $500 shopping spree at Water Tower Place, and dinner at Deca Restaurant + Bar.

Submit entry forms through Sunday at boxes located on Mall Level 2 near Louis Vuitton. No purchase necessary. Must be at least 21 to enter.
