On Friday night I attended the kickoff party thrown by the Junior League of Honolulu for their upcoming Sacs in the City event. The party was hosted by Diane Von Fustenberg at Ala Moana. There were delicious hors d’oeuvres and drinks to enjoy while browsing through DVF’s spring 2012 line.

The spring line features lots of bright colors and fun prints.

Travel Bags.

iPhone cases.

Adorable ping pog set.

A really cute international adapter cases for traveling.

Wine and Champange!

These were crispy and light with tomato and goat cheese. Delish.

I loved these flavorful smoked swordfish on top of fingerling potato. I ate 5 pieces.

There was a drawing to win this beautiful Harper Laurel Leather Bag with neon orange accent.

My friend, Lani Soon, and I had fun browsing through the clothes.

Some special guests were in attendance at the event including fashion designer Andy South, Mrs. Hawaii, and Mrs. America.

With Andy South.

With Mrs. America, Lara Leimana Fonoimoana. She will be participating in the DVF fashion show at the actual Sacs In The City event in March.

I just had to take a picture of Mrs. America’s gorgeous ring. It was one of her prizes when she won from the pageant.

The Junior League of Hawaii is a committee of women who promote voluntarism and leadership. To purchase tickets for their 8th annual Sacs in the City event to be held on Saturday March 3rd at the Sheraton Waikiki, go to http://www.juniorleagueofhonolulu.org/.
