Hawaii bounty hunter Dog Chapman and his wife Beth will premiere their new reality show in April on CMT, the network announced. No specific air date was given, however.
The hour-long show, tentatively called “Dog,” will follow the couple as they criss-cross the country to help struggling bail bondsmen companies, the network said in a statement.
Chapman told the Star-Advertiser in September that he wanted to do this series to help bounty hunters deal with an increasingly dangerous profession that had claimed lives in recent months.
Fans of Chapman had howled in protest ever since his popular show was canceled by AMC last summer.
CMT, which ordered 10 episodes last September, claims to reach 92 million homes in the United States.
