Outtakes Online: ‘Five-0′ ratings lowest ever

BY MIKE GORDON / mgordon@staradvertiser.com

It was a disappointing night for “Hawaii Five-0,” which recorded a series low 7.53 million viewers on Monday, according to Nielsen ratings information released by CBS.

The episode had originally been scheduled to air last week but was postponed by news programs covering Superstorm Sandy. “Five-0” had not aired a new episode since Oct. 15.

“Five-0” finished slightly ahead of NBC’s freshman drama “Revolution,” which drew 7.35 million viewers Monday, but well behind ABC’s “Castle,” which won the hour with 10.03 million viewers.

Among adults 18 to 49 years old, the key advertising audience, “Five-0” drew two percent of the total viewing audience and five percent of those watching TV at the time, CBS said. But “Revolution” drew the highest rating/share of the hour: 2.8 percent of the total viewing audience and seven percent of those watching TV.
