PICS: SIAOSI EP RELEASE PARTY: 2. Local recording artist Siaosi celebrated the release of his new EP, “Everything Is Good,” with a party at the Mai Tai Bar Ala Moana on Jan. 17. Siaosi was joined by opening acts the Jimmy Weeks Project, Kiwini Vaitai, Jah Maoli, Hot Rain and Zhen; reggae star J Boog also made a guest appearance. PICS: SUNSET ROOM GRAND OPENING: 3. Honolulu welcomed the newest addition to its nightclub landscape as the Sunset Room celebrated its grand opening Jan. 18. After a private reception and blessing, the club opened its doors on the second floor of Aloha Tower Marketplace to the general public with special guest DJ Donald Glaude; the grand-opening celebration continued Saturday with Paul Mahoney of LCD Soundsystem.
